What we collect

When you send a quote form on this site, we collect these details from you:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your address or suburb, so we know where the patio would go
• your answers to the form's questions, such as the patio style you are after, and anything you write about your project
• which form you used, the page it was on, and when you sent it
• if you email or phone us instead, your email address or phone number and what you tell us

Details our website host records

Like most websites, our host keeps logs of visits, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. These logs help keep the site running and secure, and we do not use them to work out who you are.

How we use it

We pass your details to our Perth building partner, who calls you back, books your free on-site measure and quotes your patio, pergola or carport. We also keep a record of each enquiry so none goes missing if an email fails.

You do not have to give us your details, but without your name and phone number we cannot book your measure or quote.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry goes to our independent Perth building partner, The Patio Factory in Welshpool, who measures, quotes, designs and installs the patio. They use your details to contact you about your job.

We also use service providers to run the website, count visits, store enquiries and deliver them by email. They handle your details only to provide that service to us. Some of them store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies and site data

The quote form includes a quick security check to stop spam. It sets one small cookie that remembers which icon you were last asked to pick, so the next check asks for a different one. The cookie lasts a year and holds nothing about who you are.

We may use Google Analytics to see how people use the site, such as which pages they visit. It uses cookies and reports visits as totals, not by name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we keep it safe

Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored with providers who protect them against loss and misuse. We keep each enquiry on file so your job can be followed up, and we delete our copy if you ask us to. The Patio Factory keeps its own record of your job.

If your details are ever involved in a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email info@pinnaclepatios.com.au and we will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, email info@pinnaclepatios.com.au and we will look into it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this policy and the date at the top.
